Carrom
A classic tabletop game that combines elements of billiards and shuffleboard, where players use a striker to pocket small discs into corner pockets.
how to play
The aim of Carrom is to use a striker to pocket all of your designated pieces (either black or white) before your opponent does, and finally pocketing the red piece (the queen).
Setup:
1. Arrange the Carrom pieces in the center circle of the board.
2. Players sit on opposite sides of the board.
Gameplay:
1. Players take turns using the striker to hit their pieces into the corner pockets.
2. The game starts with a break shot to disperse the pieces.
3. The red piece (queen) must be pocketed and then covered by pocketing another piece in the same turn.
Winning:
The first player to pocket all their pieces and the queen, with appropriate coverage, wins the game.
Fouls:
1. Pocketing the striker.
2. Failing to cover the queen after pocketing it.
3. Pocketing the opponent’s pieces.
